Welcome to the “Land of Humans”, in Marquesan «Te Henua Enata», to the Marquesas Islands!
Emerging from the Pacific Ocean, these mythical islands, where legends and stories combine, are a paradise for divers. Few have the privilege of exploring the breathtaking richness of these waters at the edge of the world.
Considered as one of the most isolated in the world, the Marquesas archipelago presents exceptional endemism. Its ecosystem and remarkable biodiversity raise very important issues and fully justify the inclusion of this archipelago as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Out of fascination and love towards the "Land of Humans", Nuku-Dive conveys a respectful and durable approach of this singular aquatic world. This dive center offers an immersion to the heart of the unmatched marine life of Nuku Hiva.

A fantastic experience with Julie and her team (thanks Christophe!) at Nuku Dive! The underwater life was incredibly rich, the briefing and debriefing were thorough, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We didn't see any hammerheads, but we did see some rays and countless schools of fish and moray eels, which was a real treat! Visibility wasn't as good as in the lagoon, of course, but we were lucky in that respect. Another great advantage: you'll be alone on and in the water (no other dive clubs, just one boat, small group). Thanks again!

Ahhh, the Marquesas Islands... "complaining is out of place," sang the great Brel. And it's so true.
Another world. Wild, with breathtaking, untamed, lush landscapes.
Everyone knows that the visibility isn't as good for diving as it is in the Tuamotus.
And the encounters are unpredictable and surprising: manta rays, hammerhead sharks, trevally, tuna, moray eels—a feast for the eyes.
If you want to see big things, this is the place to dive.
Yes, the sea decides, but when it's calm, what a treat!

One of the best dive center I had experience to deal with!
Dives are really cool, you can see a lot of endemic species, scalloped hammerhead sharks 😍 Their equipment is nearly all Cressi stuff, they provide flashlights for free for a dive! I was super surprised! I did a dive with Girard, he was a nice fellow, always showing interesting things underwater.
The visibility is not great always, you need to be lucky, same with big stuff underwater ;)
I’m waiting for the time when I come back to dive with them again! Unfortunately no photos or videos to attach since I drowned my phone in Hiva Oa :(

Fantastic dive club with excellent equipment. The entire staff is professional and friendly. We had two magnificent dives with manta rays, sharks, octopus, barracudas, tuna, and a multitude of other fish. A wonderful experience!
